2018 GENERAL ELECTIONS
Place 2: Democratic Incumbents Yvonne Rodriguez and Gina M. Palafox did not draw a challenger and each received 100% of the vote

Additionally, in 2018 former Chief Justice Chew sat by assignment as Senior Judge.
2014 ELECTIONS AND APPOINTMENT
Chief Justice Ann Crawford McClure, promoted by Governor Rick Perry in 2011 to head the court when Chief David Chew resigned, ran unopposed and received 63,816 votes. Chief McClure was previously confirmed by the electorate for her unexpired term in 2012. She was elected to the court in November 1994.
Governor Rick Perry appointed Steven Hughes to Place 3 in October 2014. He will face the voters in the next election cycle.
